Comparing on line or virtual world with off line Word (the real one) and a web with a physical site, either your home, office or professional desk we identify some differences and among them the idea of what is public and private even if it can be easily access.

In any traditional business, neither all the parts of the zone of work, nor all the information are accessible to the visits because all the visits are not, by definition, well-meaning.

We want to be as much welcoming as possible at our virtual place and at the same time we need to make sure we know as much as possible who is visiting and is interested in the ideas and knowledge we want to divulgate.
