Data protection policy

You always will be informed about the purpose of the data treatment and who are you allowing to treat and process your information.

You can always tell us how long you want us to hold the information in our records. Should you not say anything, records will be kept as long as possible and if we believe there a reason to keep them.

Depending on the purpose and the subject of the contact we keep the right to propose the mandatory fields we need you to complete to fulfil the request or to complete it . Mandatory fields will be never requested without a reason to do so. We can disclose the reason should you ask but will never left empty a field that has been previously requested.

CFV will keep you informed about the required security level depending on the type of information hold from you.

Should you request a service, apply or contact us for any reason, we keep the right to ask further questions before answering or to request a copy of a legal identification of the person to confirm or to validate your identity.

We never answer anonym or not sufficiently clear requests.

Should you does not want to authorized us to treat your data, following the “I do not accept” click route, we keep the right not to answer your request.

To allow us a to do a good job we need to get the right data and to keep in our records the longer the better we need your authorization.

The fields requested to complete will depend on the contact type ( private or professional), the channel chosen to get answer and the favorite contact methods ., telephone mobile, Fax, Voice over IP , Skype, email or webinars.

Validation of channels will be mandatory to get the double opt in confirming you interest and avoiding inclusion of data by third party without the data subject knowledge or fraudulent one. We also could in near future activate biometric id systems and digital signatory procedures.

We understand that data provided can be disclose to members of the association and can be use also to other purposes apart from the ones mentioned like, commercial information, events , courses, seminars, trade fairs and whatever information we may think of interest.

Data subjects can always exercise the right to oppose to an specific treatment.


Validity and quality of recorded data

We keep the right and you authorise us to re contact you in the future to maintain the data quality and validity. The Data Protection Directive obliges the data controller to keep accurate information and to review it periodically.

Data controller can request new information, rectify, modify or erase data if it is not anymore valid, is not usable, cannot establish contact due that valid channels are not valid anymore, the data is old or not of interest anymore.

You acknowledge that we can do any of the above without requesting your permission, and only will us contact or inform you if we decide to do so without any obligation on our side.


Adult visitors and membership . User and Junior under 18

This page is address to adults and persons over 18 years.

Visitors under 18 and over 14 can visit and subscribe to newsletters, but should not send information , participate in activities , forums or blogs without parental authorization.

In any case web responsible will be allow to authorize persons under 18 and up to 12 years of age to be members after a specific maturity examination is undertaken.

Only if enrolled in a specific junior program Junior visitors will be entitle to participate or to become members. Once they reach 18 they will be granted same rights and obligations and we will request their confirmation as legally adults.

Under 18 can not contract or request services except if applicable laws authorised them to do so .

Mobile devices and mobile phones use shall be under parental control . If the mobile can access internet or send SMS or MMS parents assume all the responsibility and oblige to indemnify us.

Adult user will depending on the enrolment type assume personal or professional , or both obligations:

In case a professionally enrolled person change of job, this person commit to inform us personally and not to use your previous position to establish new contact with us.

We could keep a historical record of your professional career: Your obligations on confidentiality or on non disclosure agreement undersigned as a representative of a corporate and organisation or any other type of legal entity will be enforceable independently of the change of job and are undertaken personally.


Third party obtained data and Public data

should a person recommend a friend, pass on information or represent one or many other persons, he commits to obtain their personal data and the authorisation that we treat and process it. Data controller will always take the necessary steps to seek the consent of the other individual or will erase the data.

An introduction record class or public data class will be created to control and limit consent request and will deleted personal data or will be keep it in a No contact list centralized by CFV who will provide such service for us not to contact you again.

We will keep source of data obtained.

Personal Data disclosure and caducity

We commit not to disclose personal data obtained to third parties outside the CFV system. We will be entitle to transfer data for the conclusion of a contract, or to fulfil a service that require personal data to be transfer ( hotel booking, invoicing, attendance list , etc..)

We will keep data as long as it is valid and useful to us.

In the event you exercise your rights and request a modification or a cancelation we will fulfill your request if there is no legal or contractual reason not to do so. We could keep your data active but blocked if you have agreed previously not to oppose for a period of time and for legally reasons (accounting laws, tax laws and others regulations). Once the period of time agreed pass data will be rectify, block, erase or destroy accordingly.
