Why is it Engineering?

The origin of all Engineering is the application of knowledge to provide benefits, optimise resources or solve the problems of society, using tools designed and constructed with this purpose in mind.

Consequently, the application of knowledge from different branches, acquired systematically, and the development of specific abilities and capacities allow us to create new Engineering specialisations or fields.

Engineering was at first associated with the development of mechanical, electronic and structural instruments to use or exploit natural resources efficiently and profitably.

Recently, this limited term for resolving material challenges has also been associated with biology, people and social processes, joining the field of medicine, genetics and other specialities.

The new Engineering presented on this website is the result of skill, effort and situational knowledge applied to the identification and solution of problems in interpersonal relations. It is within the field of Engineering because it rigorously applies knowledge from the science of Motor Action.
